My 5 year old loves these shoes. We want her in barefoot-type shoes to promote good foot health. These are wide toe box and they have a minimal heel-to-toe drop compared to other popular athletic-type shoes. The sole is flexible so her feet can feel the ground. My daughter likes the way the shoes look because they are very similar in style to the popular athletic shoes that most of her classmates wear. The price is reasonable, especially if you catch a sale. The no PFAS is great. I wish the shoes had less/no arch support and 0 heel-to-toe drop. Other than that, they are great if you want your young kiddo in a shoe that promotes good foot health from a young age!
