Easy to get on
Stephanie T –
Just took these on a hike, my son stepped in water multiple times and was happy they are water proof.
Jamie K –
We have had these shoes for less than 2 weeks and purple fabric material is already fraying around it.
Anzhelika C –
My husband bought these shoes size big kids 7 for our 10 year old grandson, who wears a big kids size 6.5. The shoes are a good quality, the color is nice, although we don’t known yet how waterproof they are, but there is a big problem with the size. They are huge! They are even big on me, and I wear wide shoes, size 8.5 for woman. Keen messed up with sizes. We left this shoes for future, in couple years it will be good on our grandson.

Purchased for hiking (and walking) around Iceland. No complaints about comfort from my son, and they’ve held up well to the mud so far!
Vanessa –
My son has only been wearing these for 6 weeks and they are falling apart. Literally. I will not be buying keen shoes again and will just stick to their sandals. My son did say they did keep his feet dry when it rained when he walked to school until they started falling apart.

My daughter loves her Keens. They fit well and last a decent amount of time.

I have a very particular kiddo when it comes to shoes. My kid has an extremely wide toe box and is very particular about fit and comfort. We have tried many shoes that haven’t worked (including some other types of Keen sneakers) but my kid has agreed that these are keepers! Will be re-ordering in next sizes up until we size out.

Keens are known for their wide toe box. It is what I love about them for myself and my kid. However, these are very narrow and straight. They are also substantially longer than other Keens of the same size. I wanted to love them and let my kid have waterproof shoes, but these DO NOT fit like any other KEENs we have tried.
Rebecca G –
My son is very picky about shoes and honestly would rather not wear shoes at all, but he loves these! He says the are very comfortable and he likes how they look.
Eve F –
i originally got these in size 6 (I have previously owned several pairs of Keens in kid’s size 6, and they have fit well–I wear a women’s 7 or 7.5). But the 6s of these were way too big. The size 5 is still oddly large, and too loose. I really want waterproof shoes for winter, but these are uncomfortably big while the women’s size 7 Terradoras are long enough but tight.
CORINNE N –
We are disappointed in this purchase. Our boys also wear waterproof Keens each Winter and this is the first pair that have not held up. The soft green is withering and the “durable black” part is craking and peeling. Additionally, my kids come home from school with WET feet!
Rachel M –
The size 4 Keen was way too big, but a size 5 in a Salomon fit. Didn’t keep because of the sizing, so can’t comment on quality.

Made well

We ordered two pairs for children, and on one pair the gray toe guard peeled off within a week.

I bought 3 pairs of shoes all at the same time (all size 5). The other 2 were very close in sizing. The wanduro was a centimeter longer and much narrower. Had to return.
Cassandra M –
My daughter of obsessed with these shoes! They fit her perfectly! Shes in between a size 1-1.5 and I got the size 1 and she says they fit great! Enough room for her toes. Im so glad I got here these shoes.
Tatiane G –
My only complaint is that it runs larger than the chandler style. So it is too big for now, but kids grow so fast I bet it will fit before we know it. I ended up buying another chandler in the same size (big kid 1) that fits much better for my daughter.

I purchased this shoe for my 7 yr old son who typically wears a size 3. We measured his foot according to the size chart listed on the website and chose the size accordingly. However when we got the shoe, it was so big I could put the shoe on my foot. We had to return it. When we did return it we were given a free shipping label. However there was $10 taken out of our return to pay for this return. I love Keen and have put my son in nothing but Keen shoes since he was an infant. However, this shoe was a disappointment. From now on we will be sticking to the Chandler or going to the store to try on Keen Shoes that we havent purchased before.

I have yet to be disappointed from keen. My son has very wide feet and also has gait issues. These shoes give him great support without constricting his feet. They are very weak made.
Jennifer S –
My kids destroyed these in less than 6 months. All of the shiny areas are peeling off and the inside heel has completely disintegrated. Not keens usual durability. I would not buy these again.
Kelsey H –
My daughter wore them a few times but complains every time that they hurt her feet. Just a waste of money for us, I guess. They do seem waterproof (which she desperately needs), so, back to square one I guess. She thought they were cute too!
Nina –
Perfect waterproof shoes.
Bronwen E –
The pictures say it all–not sure what the issue is here, but the shoes immediately began falling apart, after normal wear on the playground. They are also not as waterproof as we hoped, but that’s a lesser issue. Disappointing, because they looked really cool.
