Chris O –
Felt extra roomy up front at first but I realize now that these shoes make a lot of sense. I was wary that there would not be enough arch support but there is just enough. They feel good at work and the steel toe is not clunky at all. Very comfortable and rugged work boot.

I work for a water utility in New England and am constantly hot, wet, cold, etc. dealing with the 4 seasons. Ran 8 pairs of Keen Pittsburghs over the past 5-6 years. PITTSBURGHS use Keen’s original outsoles that can only handle my line of work for 5-7 months 40+ hours a week. Wanted to try the Braddocks as the outsole is newer technology. From first look seems like it will handle kickin shovels and the rest that comes with construction just as well. Time will tell on how they last. They are slightly shorter in the ankle than the Pits but feel more comfortable as the width is slightly wider. These as well as the Liberty ridge and rest of the USA built models you have to buy the bigger size. These in 10.5D feel very close to the Pits and Clevelands in 10D. Definitely get a half size bigger!
Great value another win for Keen #Merica

Wear them almost everyday of the year in a northern climate. Work indoor and outdoor and they are perfect for almost any condition. Comfortable to walk in, safety toe is not noticeable until you need it. Recommend highly.

This is my 2nd pair of this workboot, replacing a 2 year old pair that held up very well. Very comfortable

As long as Keen keeps making this boot I will not bother ordering any other boot for my husband to choose between. According to him, this is the best and most comfortable steel-toe work boot he has ever worn. (This is his second pair. of this model.) He likes the look, the fit, waterproofing, and long life. It delivers exactly as advertised.

I have very hard to please feet, too wide, too flat, too sore, and too hot, and find it very difficult to find a boot that I can work on concrete for ten hours a day with….but these are the ones! I am amazed at how comfortable they are and how they feel like I’ve been wearing them for six months….already broken in to my exact foot contours. The best part about them is the way they are built in a curved fashion that promotes forward momentum. In the horse shoeing world this is called breakover. They are not flat bottomed, nor are they hard to bend as you propel forward, but instead they seem to help you roll to the next step. And, the way they bend almost in half as you kneel on the ground is amazing as well. Very few boots do this, they are almost like an athletic shoe in this respect. I wore them out of the box for ten hours the first day, and every day since then, without the slightest problem. They are the only boots that I have ever owned that are truly wide enough in the safety toe area, (all Keen boots) no hard edges whatsoever. I highly recommend these boots!!! I did put a pair of Protalis insoles in them, as I do with every pair of footwear. The best insole in the world.

Just ordered these boots so I haven’t put a lot of miles on them yet, but I know they’ll be good… I’ve come to expect it from keen. Love the look, the sole is perfect, the fit is just right. Also love the sips they put on the bottom a lot of their soles, makes for amazing traction. The leather is so very smooth. Love the fact that they are made in Portland, OR. If there was a couple things I’d like to see better, using 100% USA materials would be neat. Also leather on the tongue. I’ve been a big keen promoter since 2006 with my 1st purchase of keen Newport’s, & ever since, I’ve used my several pairs to walk literally 60% of the last 14 years. Hope these will be just as good.

1st pair of steel toe work boots. 1st day at work wore them 19,000+ steps and they seemed great, although I was already beat pretty good from previous 30+ hours. Fit & size was the same size I have always ordered in the keen Newport sandals I’ve owned forever. Love the smooth quality leather & the sole is very very comfortable/top notch. Keen is very smart in how they engineer their soles/outsoles, I’ve put lots of miles on all 10 diff pairs in the last 14 years and have only ever worn out 1 pair of keen soles. Things that could be better on this Braddock pair… use a lighter thickness leather tongue & better laces. Also I noticed that the bottom 2-3 loops I cannot tighten fully, it’s very stiff. When I tighten laces, I can only really tighten the top 3. Maybe this is bcuz of the steel toes or that I still haven’t fully broken them in yet, but that could be checked into. But that makes the front 3rd of my feet feel a little loose. The weight is very heavy at a little over 2 pounds each for size 12D, it would be nice if they could engineer a lighter carbon fiber toe that is just as strong as steel & make the boot a little less heavy while also being tuff as nails. I’m sure they’ll get better as I break them in more than just 1 day. Overall 4.8 Stars.

I know I’ve written about this boot prior…but these boots were purchased in March 2020, now being December 2020, here is an update…
The overall comfort of the boot is good. Waterproofing seems to hold up through this time. The leather has held up with little damage. Unfortunately….the first thing to happen to the boots were the “accent” rubber segments on the sole came off. I noticed these boots do horrible for slip protection. The sole on one boot has split across at the big toe knuckle. I will try to attach a picture for reference. The laces that are provided are way too long for the boot, often leading to them catching on something.
Having bought a few other pairs of Keens, I thought this pair would last at least a year… suppose not.

These boots may be the best boots I have ever purchased. I have very wide feet and purchased the EE width, 1/2 size up for a wool winter socks. Basically ready to go out of the box. I wear them with standard hiking socks and with liner sock plus wool.

I’ve been using these boots for the last 5 years. It has been the most comfortable work boots I’ve used in my 18 year career. They fit true to size. There’s no “breaking in.” They are good to go straight out the box. Highly recommend.

I walk about 4 miles per day on a concrete floor. These boots are very comfortable. The factory I work in dirty with boots easily destroyed by oils. These Keen Braddock’s hold up very well in a hazardous environment.
Bruce –
Made in Oregon USA! excellent quality and fit. Comfortable out of the box.

Great fit, comfortable, minimal “break in” period, Made In U.S.A. Quality and craftsmanship, durable.

Tried on about 10 pairs of steel toe boots through Zappos. Kept 2 pairs . This is my favorite of the two pairs I kept. Fit right out of the box and continues to feel good after months of use. I use the boots for weekend projects. Will probably get another pair for when current pair is done. Steel toe saved my toes/foot a few times already. Good outer sole/tread. Comfortable to walk in too, I eventually swapped out the insole for a Dr. Scholl’s workbook insole. Shoe is not clunky or too heavy. I would recommend these boots.

I like these boots, but after about a week of wearing them to work, I had to give up on them. I ordered my regular size and it was too small length wise (I have many other keens in this 11.5 size and they’re great). I exchanged for a 12 and they were better but still questionable- I decided to give them a try, hoping the padding in the back would compress and the length would be fine. Nope. I’m disappointed I spent 230 bucks and I’m at this point. Zappos didn’t have a 13 to exchange them, but why would I need a 13 when I wear an 11.5? Anyway- there’s that.

Everything was perfect, but I am not allowed to wear a steel toe shoes at work, but if you guys have the same kind of shoes with out ” steel toe ” I would take it.
Adane –
I had to return it. because it’s a steel toe, but not a soft toe.
Firas –
I highly recommend this working boots
