Perfect

Very comfortable, started wearing them with waking and working immediately with no rubbing or usual soreness with new shoes.
Very tall ankle height, great for support and keeping muck out.

I purchased these boots, mainly because they are so light. They turned out to be very comfortable and about as light as my normal hunting boots, unlike my Red Wing steel toe boots, which are very sturdy, but weigh at least 4.5 lbs, and once you get mud stuck on them, they feel like lead weights.
I’ve only worn these new Keen’s for 2 work days so far, but very comfortable, and hope they hold up to the rigors of work and outdoors.

I have been wearing these practically everyday since June of 2021. As far as a boot goes, this pair checks off the boxes of performance in both hot and cold environments as well as maintaining structure and stitching very well. They can certainly take some abuse. As far as comfort, I have no problem being up on my feet all day in these boots. I replaced the insoles as I always do with some Dr. Scholls and I often prefer wearing these as a pose to my casual shoes when going out shopping. The lacing system is really good with these boots and is really the best part of taking them off. I can don and doff these boots just as fast as a regular pair of sneakers. These boots will hurt to wear for the first 1-2 weeks during the break in period. However, they don’t hurt as much as previous pairs I’ve had to break in. If you are committed to using a quality pair of boots, I strongly recommend getting a pair of these for both work and hiking. They certainly can be the only pair of boots you will ever need.

I purchased the boots after trying them on the store. Felt great in the store however after wearing the boot for under 2 hours my feet were killing me. I tried to exchange them for another size but the store refused. I then reached out to Keen and they stated that because I had not purchased the boots directly from them there was nothing they could or would do. Horrible customer service on both parts Keen and Walt’s Clothing in Rhode Island.

Ive been wearing keen uninsulated boots for a couple years in a size 12D. I read reviews stating they ran a bit small so I went with a 12ee ( wide ) boot. Still tight but the next size up is too big. The reinforced heal is a good idea but it makes the boot too stiff.

These are great when working in the winter at a place like DEN airport. I recommend it to those who work the Line RON shifts.

Worn several times now for work – Things that come to mind
lots of padding around ankle and upper
great stability
can’t even tell it has a carbon toe, thats great
tie it once and its super fast to take on and off
the sole doesn’t seem to clump mud like my other boots
very happy with traction
fit is a very standard 13 in both width and footbed length (suprising as many of the other Keen models I tried generally ran large)
Definiatly happy

These insulated boots fit just as comfortably as my Keen hiking boots.
Living in northern MN they have met my expectations for warms and they make hiking through the snow much easier than traditional winter boots.

5 stars for the bootonce I went to a local store for fitting and purchased them there. Im usually a Keen 11. 5 but these are sized so far off that I require a 13 wide. Ive never been over a 12 in my life and usually a 12 is huge on me. Last time I buy footwear online. Not worth the hassle for convenience or even a sale savings.

I have 4 pair of Keens and have had about 18 pair total in the past 22 years. I just told my wife today as a matter of fact, these Mens Dover 8 Insulated Waterproof Boot are the most comfortable boot I have ever had, thus far. For the first time I did not have to replace the stock insole with a different/better one. It has been really cold the past few weeks and with Alpaca socks and these boots my feet have not gotten cold.
Alexander C –
I walked around in 3 deep snow with a weather Feels Like of -4 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 hours the first day I used these with one pair of mid-weight toe socks (my winter woolies were ready, just in case). I did not even begin to notice the cold in my feet and had no issues with grip on some icy patches. Ive since used them three more times in similar wintry conditions and a slow-moderate walking pace with phenomenal comfort. Already recommended them to two buddies!

These are great boots, but why are some of your other boots not made in the US?

A little stiff but not bad. Probably need to wear them some more.
