There is a hard nub at the top of the gusset in both boots that stabs my ankles. Not sure if it’s multiple panels/stitching converging at that point or just the gusset material itself but it’s difficult to move that nub so it isn’t stabbing me. Also, the boot feels lumpy/uncomfortable under foot (at least with the stock insole. I will try another insole just to see if that helps. My feet do stay warm and dry, though, which goes a long way.

Boot was too small length and width. I ordered a 13 wide. Maybe a 14 extra wide would have worked.

Id say after having the boots for a couple weeks they do get a little wet inside when working in icy/snowy environments. Also they arent the warmest boot but much better than a brunt boot as far as warmth. They are comfortable enough I have had a few sore feet days because of them and they do not do well with a heater the front melted right off on me when I was trying to warm my feet up. But for

Great quality boots keep your feet warm it just needs more cushion on the toe part it hurts a little but not to bad

I bought Logandale Boots, not knowing they were the wrong tool for the job. The boot lace straps quickly wore out. KEEN sent me another pair I fixed them myself by “installing” Tandy Leather lace hooks. Those eventually got pulled out from both pairs of Logandale boots. I submitted a warranty claim that was honored. This time, I spent hours researching my options for Keen waterproof work boots and I called customer service three times, for an hour total before buying the Evanston boots. The Evanston boots are a little narrow but time should fix that.

Honestly, Ive worn these boots for a week straight trying to break them in but my ankles are in so much pain. There is not enough cushion on the inside of the boots where it wraps around the ankles. I went back to my old pair with the holes in them for now because my ankles hurt that bad. These boots are much heavier than the last 2 pair I had partly because of the composite toe protection.
Ill try the new boots again in a few days to see if I can break them in a little more. If not Id like to return them and get boots similar to my last couple of pair even though they last less than a year.
