Keen boots top notch. I have wide width and the have lasted the longest and I wore them till the sole came off super glued and got another almost year in the snow on hot roof they are the best oh yea they are 12 hour long comfortable!!!!!
KEEN is the only boot that can keep up with me.

I dont normally complain but I have to be honest. The last couple pairs of boots I have bought have been of poor quality. I am an advid Keene boot fan. I have about 6 pairs in my mud room. This pair I just got one boot is bigger and fits great the other is tight in the toes. I was going to just let it go but since you sent the review request out here we are. I will be honest I think after this I am going to move on from using the product. When I first started buying Keene boots I put them on and they never needed to broke in the fit perfect every time. Now there is always an issue. It really is disappointing.

These boots are super sturdy, and I’ve loved wearing them in the brewery where I work. It’s a wet environment, but the waterproofing is great, they dry out pretty easily, and I have not slipped once wearing them. I ordered my usual size, and they feel more roomy than usual, but it’s nice to have a bit of distance from the steel toe.

I bought these boots for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised when they showed up. They seemed pretty rugged and, besides the yellow exclamation marks and logos, are a low key black color. They aren’t as chunky as a I expected them to be which is nice for a boot with a steel toe. I really wanted them to work, because being waterproof, low profile and a steel toe would have made them a pretty versatile boot for someone who works in a machine shop, and bikes through Minnesota winters. However, I had to return these after three weeks, because the mesh material started ripping away from the sole in two spots on the right boot. It seems like its a problem that will occur because of the lack of flexibility from the steel toe. Also a shoelace ripped its outer lining in the same time frame. One small detail I didn’t notice until they showed up is that the speed grommets, (the top two) are plastic, which I saw and immediately imagined how easy they would break, especially in cold weather, or in some sort of shop.
The fit seems spot on, and the water proofing works really well (as long there isn’t a rip). My foot was submerged about 3 to 4 inches and a puddle and stayed dry. Again, I wish these would’ve worked out, but I can’t see how they wont keep ripping with synthetic material and a steel toe.

5 months and this what’s happening to my husbands boots. Very expensive to fall apart

I thought they were a orthopedic steel toe boot, but my Podiatrist said they don’t have enough support.

I used these for about a year. Very comfortable from the start. I like this style and will order them again. The only issue I have had with them is the laces are less than good and break early on. I have had two sets of laces within a year of use. Steel toe design is the best. Great shoe.

Sturdy, fit to size. I work in golf course maintenance and in muddy, wet grass and dirt a lot. Good protection.

Great fit and support with nice styling as well. Just make sure that your socks are moisture wicking if you’re going to be doing lots of walking as I do.

These boots are awesome once they are broken in. Took me 3 days of working in them to break them in. Warm, waterproof, good looking boots. Easy lace up. Great boot overall.

Be Careful during the ordering process the shoe size will change in the cart from the first selection. The Zappos software has a glitch.

Shoe felt a little bit tight go up from your regular shoes size.

Have been wearing Keen made in USA shoes for several years. Have tried four pair recently and could not find a pair that fit well. Will be switching brands to find something I can wear.

I love these boots and these are my 2nd pair. I can wear them all day. I do alot of walking in grass, concrete, mud, ect. They fit like a glove and are actually less heavy than some other low top Keens I have that also have a safety toe. They keep my feet dry. I also wear Grip 6 wool socks with them. I only just back and forth on my other shoes to help keep my tan line low. Bottom line is I really love these boots.

Boots fell apart after 8 months
The soles split in half
Benjamin S –
My second pair of boots I ordered comfortable all day while Im at work. Just only problem they only last a year my old pair the soles fell apart. Other then that they are great
Ari –
Boot loops quickly frayed. Replaced them with bootlace hooks similar to Keen Louisville boots.
Steven F –
My old pair lasted 2 years before the sole split into 2 at the flex point. I will get them repaired and use them for home repairs. I walked 17,891 steps yesterday in my new pair and they are super comfortable. Bad boots can ruin your day. After 17 years in construction, I have found the golden boot. Thank you for protecting my feet and my family.

Working in the tow boat industry i do a lot of walking on barges coated with non-skid. Right out the box they were great. They have held up pretty well. The outsole has some ware and stare be over all they’re still really comfortable, held out any water. The abrasive proof siding is just that, other that some of the rubber separating from the walking, they’ve have held up great. Boots don’t last long in this industry so i boat a second pair but I’ll still have the original pair.
Trey D –
They look nice, but are poorly built. I’ve had mine for only 5 months and they’re falling apart in multiple places.
The loops that hold the laces (minus the metal loops) have all broke and essential rendered the laces useless.
The siding of the boots, both left and ride side have already cracked and started falling off.
If water gets above the tongue, the inside of the boot gets soaked immediately and seems to permeate all through the inner membrane and insole. If I get a little bit of water in the boot, within a few minutes I can feel the entirety of my foot is wet. The number one reason I bought this kind is because I work in water treatment and was promise a waterproof boot. This is not the experience I’ve had in such a short amount of time.
The good I can say is the sole itself. It seems to be the only part of the boot that doesn’t show any wear and tear whatsoever.
Please fix these issues and you will have a dang good quality work boot.

Amazing shoes! Worksites I walk on have rugged and mud terrain and these shoes are great. My feet stay dry despite the shoes get buried in the mud. These are waterproof and very easy to clean. Very comfortable shoes and long lasting. Looks great too. I wear these on winter too. Very durable material used on the shoes and high quality.
