My husband has been driving/delivering for UPS for over 30 years and loves this shoe. He is on his feet all day, everyday and we continue to reorder this shoe. The last pair lasted him about a year which is about twice as long as other shoes last. He has several pair of keen winter boots with different levels of insulation and he loves them too
CHARLES W –
Pretty good shoe! One of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn to work. I work on a delivery truck, and deliver an average of 150 stops a day. The shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. They seem to be very durable also. It rained the first day I wore them and my feet stayed dry. Not real crazy about the large toe though.

I stand a lot for work and thought that this would be a good shoe. The toe box is quite roomy if you like that sort of thing. I returned it because the insole had a wierd ridge on the heel that created a pressure point. Not good for a shoe supposedly designed for comfort.

Very comfortable, great arch support. Upper is easy to clean. Rubber toe offers good protection. Dirt & grime does get stuck easily in the no-slip tread.

My son who is now 21 manages a Rapid Oil Change. I visited him at work one day since he is so busy with school and work that I rarely see him. As we were talking, I looked down at the shoes and noticed his toes were coming through. I asked him why he was wearing shoes that were so worn, and he said he just didn’t have any extra money and knowing that I’m a struggling single mom he didn’t have the heart to ask me for money for new shoes. My heart sunk and when I arrived at home I immediately went online and searched for a safety shoe. I contacted Zappos.com and spoke with customer service since I was unfamiliar with what type of shoe to purchase. I explained my son’s situation and Zappos went above and beyond to find the right shoe for my son and then had it delivered the very next day free of charge. They followed-up with a phone call to make sure that the shoe arrived and that my son was completely satisfied with the shoe. I have never had such a wonderful experience with a company like that ever. I tell everyone that I come in contact with to buy from Zappos.com, you will not regret it! Their customer service is amazing and they truly care about their customer and want to see you completely satisfied. My son said that this is the first time after a full day that his feet and back don’t hurt after working all day on his feet. He absolutely loves these shoes and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a safety shoe and one that is comfortable too!

I bought these shoes for my husband as work shoes. He works in an industrial bakery (12 hour shifts). He definitely needs a durable, comfortable shoe and he puts this one to the test every shift. I ordered him a full size up. He’s a 13 and I got him a 14. He has no complaints about the size or fit at all. He’s had no problems with blisters and hasn’t had to put in extra inserts like with the other shoes he’s tried. They are comfortable at the end of his shift and he doesn’t complain about his knees bothering him anymore. They are non-slip, which is a plus. He’s had them since December and they have held up very well. I highly recommend them. They were well worth the money we spent. Zappos service is excellent as usual!

These are a beautifully made shoe. I wanted something better built than the SFC I’ve been wearing, but with a non-slip sole. However, these shoes will beat your feet up! They are super supportive, but have no cushioning. I live in my Targhee II, but even after extra gel sole inserts they are still too hard!

Great shoe for food service! Firm, crisp strike with all day cushion. Definitely order from Euro size chart. Will be a little wide in toe box, but that gives nice stability in tight turning areas. I wear this with both shorts and pants and pound doubles in comfort. Also my left arch/fasciitis has improved since wearing this Keen. I’m picky about footwear and love this shoe.

This is by far the most comfortable work shoe I have ever owned. I am on my feet 6-10 hours per day and my feet stay comfortable all day long wearing my new Keen shoes. Thank you Keen.

These are a high quality, sturdy shoe. Support is good but I expected more cushioning consider they list a memory foam footbed. They feel more like wearing a work boot than kitchen shoes. I won’t buy another pair.

Hands down the best shoes I have ever purchased for work. Those who work in the restaurant biz know that shoes are very important. Slip resistant and hugs my feet. Comfortable from the very first day. Won’t wear anything else from now on and am considering another pair of Keens for outside of work, too.

Love my comfy Keen shoes and I love Zappos fast shipping and easy returns. These shoes help my feet and back survive the workday on my feet.

My husband and I both have 7 pairs of Keens between the 2 of us, and this pair of Utility Keens were the first Utility pair he tried. He doesn’t like them, and says they’re very stiff and the soles feel too hard. It’s too bad because they look really nice, but comfort is key. We’ll be returning them for regular non-utility Keens.

Got as a gift for a coworker. He wears them every day. They’ve helped his comfort level.

I work 14 hour days in a fast paced restaurant. I have tried every pair of nonskid shoes on the market. This is the last I will ever try or buy. If you have wide feet and work a lot of hours this is the shoe for you!

I owned the previous version of these shoes called the PC Lace. The PC lasted me 2 years when other shoes normally last me 6 months at best. If they continue to make these I will never buy another shoe. I have had my new ones for about 3 months and they appear to be holding up as well as the PC. Can’t recommend this shoe enough.

I am an auto technician and so far I love this shoe. Shoes were comfortable from the first day and they don’t slip on wet or oily floors.

These are geat all day shoes. I work in production. I have some days that are 14, 16, 20 hours long. Bought these shoes a few months ago. They are night and day versus other shoes that I have tried. Especially if you are on concrete all day. I do not usually write reviews, but I have tried a number of shoes in the past. The Adidas original Sambas are what I wear usually, with an added Dr Sholls insert. I love those shoes, but these are better for over 12 hour days.

Great time on delivery fo4 Zappos first! 2nd the shoes are great! I already own a pair of size 11 i bought somewhere else for more. One thing about this style of shoes! You must break them in! Trust me. I use them to work in a grocery store, dairy, unloading truck and cashier.

This is the 2nd pair of Keen Utility PTC Qxfords. I have worn my current Keens for over 4 years and they are pretty well worn out. These shoes look & feel great. They are also water proof and have a slip resistant sole. I ordered them from Zappos with free shipping and had them in 3 days. Needless to say I am very pleased with my shoes & Zappos.

I was so bummed they stopped making the Targee II that I have been wearing for work and hiking over the past 5 years, and had bought all the pairs I could find on EBay etc. I was finally to the point where I had to get a different pair for my job (a press operator on a concrete floor 45 hours a week). I crossed my fingers and got these for a test. So stoked! Always fit my foot perfectly, and feel great. Break in even better, and overall a perfect shoe for people on their feet all day. I hope they make them for years to come. Definitely be buying more when they finally need to be replaced. Although most Keens simply need a need insole before the shoe itself is dead.

This is the second pair that I’ve ordered for my son, who wears them for work. His job keeps him on his feet, on cement floors and on paved surfaces, and in and out of the weather. He loves them and prefers to wear these over athletic shoes to work. They are true to size and width.

Very comfortable from the moment I put them on. On the picture they look like the leather would be tough and rigid but it’s very soft. Toe box is roomy like no other shoes I ever wore. They are also not tight around the ankle. I work in surgery and frequently walk on wet floors. These are non slip as advertised. One star docked because the insole started crumbling/disintegrating after one week of use which means you’ll be spending extra for a set of reliable insoles.

The problem with workforce shoes that are built for people with bad backs is that they usually look horrible. These actually look cool, and they function well. They fit perfectly, they have great support, and they are durable against messes. They are clunky, but all giant workforce shoes in this class are. And they don’t breathe very well, so you will want wool socks in hot weather. They are great in cold weather, for this same reason. Overall, I find myself wearing them even when I’m not going to work because they look so darn good.
