I have tried almost every brand of hiking boot and Keens are the only ones that are comfortable for my wide feet! I wish this style was carried in more stores, but being able to purchase them online and have them fit my feet and style perfectly was super convenient.
Dan R –
Awesome boot very comfortable
Mary –
Ordered wide and toe box was comfortable, and leather was nice although smelled a bit funky (new?). But the tongue connection pressed hard against the inside of my ankle, making it very uncomfortable, so going back. Shame, I like Keen brand.

This boot would be awesome except for the hard toe. I need wide shoes for outdoor work, so hope that Keen will continue to add to its Utility line of shoes and boots. The soft toe Seattle chelsea boot is the best ever for me, but I cannot wear any of the hard toe boots or shoes without pain. Please add a soft toe version of the Seattle Romeo boot!

I really like the square toe box on this boot ~ feels roomy for a wide foot, but it does make my feet look BIG. The size I ordered was too long. I was hoping to reorder a half size smaller, but they do not have that size in stock. I will keep checking to see if they receive more.

I really wanted these boots to work for me because they are such an attractive boot. Unfortunately, the tongue is just slightly too short and way too thin to be of any use in buffering my feet against the tension of the laces. One poor design detail that made the boot fail big for me.

These shoes are worth the price. They are comfortable, cute, and work worthy.

The fit was excellent on this shoe – I wear either 10.5 or 11, wide width. The only problem I had was with the design of the laces and tongue. When you use the top hook to lace up the shoes, the laces go over the top of the tongue, and hit your leg! As in, the tongue is too short, and needs to be extended higher up the leg.

It took about 2 weeks to break in but I love it now. I normally wear 6-6.5 street size boots but I got 5.5 – it was a little too big, but I wear thick socks anyway so it works well. Design/ color is so cute ? love this boots

Size runs a little big & it’s pretty heavy. Took me 1-2 months to get used to/ break in but after that, I love it. Design is very cute as well.

I work as a horse guide and bought these boots for barn work. There is a small breaking in period and good boot socks are recommended. But they’re durable and comfortable, and really cute! Glad I bought them.

I have worn these boots for nearly two years now. I work on my feet on a concrete floor all day long, 40+ hours a week. They were comfortable to wear right out of the box, thanks to the wide toe bed. The laces gave out VERY quickly, and I had to replace them with a more heavy-duty boot lace. The insole also wore out after a year or so, but I bought new supportive insoles which fit just fine in these boots. Aside from the laces and insoles (which should be the weakest parts of a work boot, in my opinion) these have held up super well. They are a little chunky, but I don’t mind it.

Love these boots! I have wide feet and these are the most comfortable work boots Ive ever owned. They broke in fast, feet dont feel tired at the end of the day, and look great too. I will definitely buy these again.

I love these boots! So comfortable I put them on everyday and just forget about them. Ive been through a lot of different womens work boots and I must say Im impressed by Keens comfort and quality. Ive worn these daily for months now and didnt ever think of posting a review until I accidentally submerged my foot in water today and felt absolutely nothing.

I got the boots, took them out of the box, tried them on.. I didn’t even walk in them. Put them on, then took them off (didn’t have time then to walk around, just wanted to try them on). As I took my feet out, both insoles slipped right out. There was nothing securing them to the boot. And there was no ‘permanent’ insole underneath. I emailed with a Keene representative and have arranged to return the boots. I’m so disappointed. I trust Keene for excellent quality and durability. But sadly, my trust was broken.
Becky S –
worked great, wore them for work for 7 hours a day a week straight and they remained supportive and comfortable.

Worn for three years landscaping. A+
Roslyn R –
The boot is comfortable, but the womens wide is not wide enough to wear with big socks.

Second pair. I love them they are comfortable and water proof. I am always happy even after a 12 hour shift

I looked for years to find a boot that has a wide toe box and the right amount of support. I put these on to work in the woods and wore them for a week without losing my footing or rolling my ankle.
My complaint about these shoes comes from receiving a used product. The inner lining was pilled, the sole had scrape marks, and the boots had major scuff marks all over them. They did look freshly oiled, so I believe I received a returned pair that had already been worn. After spending close to $200 for these boots, I would have liked to have received a new pair of boots or been given a major discount. So disappointing

Overall a nice quality- good looking boot.
Left boot went on first- it had a fantastic oh wow I love these fit.
Right boot was immediately painful on the top of my foot- low near the toes.
Before I even stood up.
It was on the top of the boot- below the lowest lace.
Might have been a defect in the aluminum toe on that 1 boot.
It hurt- and it wasn’t subtle.
No right foot defect. 🙂
They had to go back- and I was afraid to exchange.
Too pricey for defects.

Toe room!

Good hard wearing boots. The ankle boot is high enough to support my ankles, but do impact ankle mobility (duh). Boot tongue tends to curl inward at top of tongue. Also, the tongue bites into my ankle a bit when laces tightened.
Vonne N –
I really like these boots, but they took a while to break in. I bought them in November, but it took a couple of months to finally be comfortable (the aluminum toe was digging into my feet, and the boot was pretty stiff). I wear them for 12 hours a day, and they are really comfortable now. However, after about 12 months, the soles started to fall apart, and rubber pieces are coming off. I will probably replace after having them for 1 1/2 years.
Overall, they were very comfy once they were broken in. Also, they look really good, and it is nice to have a boot that is made for women.
