I love Sketchers, but the Sketchers that we’re available online did not have any in my size 10 Wide. A friend told me how she likes Keen, so I found the shoe in my size and I’m a new Keen customer.

I bought these for work, 11 hrs on concrete/day, and they were pretty comfortable even on the first wear. I sized up 1/2, from a 7.5 to 8, anticipating thin insoles from the manufacturer, and I’m glad I did! The insoles it came with were pretty thin (do-able tho), but remedied that with thicker ones and they feel great. They are very roomy in the toes (why I marked “felt wider”) and good cushion on the back of the heel. I am very happy with them!

Pros: No break-in necessary! These were comfortable right out of the box all day.
Cons: my feet get a little extra sweaty in these, however they are so comfortable it is worth it.
Also note: There seems to be a pretty big difference in sizes/half-sizes for this shoe. 8.5 was far too big for me, 8 was BARELY big enough but that’s what I kept and an overall very satisfied.
Highly recommend though

If you have wide feet- not to sound like an Ad.. but learn from me and save yourself weeks of waiting for deliveries and trips to the stores for returns, and just get Keen. Keen makes true wide sizing that won’t make your toes go numb like the multiple other brands on here I tried in their “wide” shoes.
I upsized a half size and probably could’ve bought my normal size.

These shoes are extremely light! I wear a size 7 but figured with summer coming around the corner I’d like a looser fit or some wiggle room. I usually go half a size up when buying running shoes as well since our feet tend to swell when hot/running. I was concerned about how these shoes would feel without having broken them in before work but to my surprise they felt just fine. My feet weren’t sore from the shoes but just tired from walking around by the end of my 8 hour shift. I work in a warehouse so we are on our feet all day. If you typically have sensitive feet and are in need of inserts then you’ll need to get some for these. These don’t really provide the best support but my feet were fine. I’ll be ordering these each year now as long as they’re available/ in stock.

I love everything about the shoes except for the soles. As soon as I wore them day 1 I knew I’d be returning them. Absolutely no cushion, so I would advise purchasing insoles to save your feet the pain. Other than that, they are lightweight and look as sleek as a safety shoe is gonna look lol.

So I literally tried all brand of shoes. I really never heard of KEEN before. I usually use timberland or or Rebook’s. Anyway got this because of the color plus someone else who wore them. I work 10 hours plus. I must say that I’m a keen fan now. My other shoes brushed my feet. They jutted my feet made them ache so much. I would go home get in the tub soaking my feet in ice or hot water. I really wasn’t expecting much from this shoes but they are the most comfortable shoes I have. ?????? . I don’t hurt anymore. I don’t even need to soak my feet or massage my feet. Also I have a little bunion and this shoes never made it hurt like my other ones. I did not need insoles either. I literally can run in this shoes. They do not feel like steel toes. Very lite. Thank you KEEN for making such good quality shoes.

Keen is one of my go-to brands — if they have a style that matches what I’m looking for, I know it will be well-made and comfortable.

Size and fit were great for my wide feet! I can fit my specific insoles inside very easily. Keen’s have always been great for me. This particular pair was missing the top eyelet on one shoe. Like it was forgotten at the factory. If the Keen people are looking at these reviews, can you send me 2 eyelets? Thanks 🙂

These shoes look nice more like a regular sneaker, some can have a very wide toe. I put them on and they are comfortable right away no breaking in necessary. The one suggestion I have is to go up a half size if you like to wear thicker socks (in winter time) otherwise they fit perfect and so far for a 6hr shift they don’t seem too heavy.

Loved them

Get a half size bigger than you normally wear. The wide width is wonderful! You will need to add an arch support.

I came to Zappos to specifically look for Keen work shoes because they are my favorite brand. They are always a perfect fit and super comfortable. These Keen Utility Sparta II’s are no different. They are so comfortable right out of the box and feel like you’re wearing an athletic shoe even with the steel toe. I do have trouble finding shoes due to a bunion on my right foot but so far these shoes have not caused any pressure or pain on that area. Ive been wearing them all week, and am on my feet all day. For fit I stood on a piece of paper, traced my right foot, and measured from my longest toe to heel. I measure 10 inches so I got the 9 1/2 after referencing the size chart. I also chose the wide due to my stupid right foot. I also received so many compliments on the blue/black combination. I highly recommend that you give Keen a try. I absolutely love them!

These shoes are just now showing wear and tear after all these months.
Good shoe, man.
I am getting them again for Amazon warehouse job.

Great working shoes!!! These are by far my favorite. Will buy same style again soon. Ty so much!

Good design, but not sure these are for me. I like how the visuals don’t scream ‘safety shoe’ and kinda give some sneaker-like appearance. BUT. Sometimes it’s not the shoe it’s the feet and I just can’t wear these knowing they’re going to hurt later. No arch support. They are awesome when it comes to comfort. Plenty of room. The toe box doesn’t hurt or pinch anywhere. The cushion and shock absorbency is there. Feels soft and secure. I feel like these would be perfect for a delivery driver or someone who occasionally might need a little extra protection. However, these would not be suited for fatigue in a full shift of standing and walking for hours. I worry the bottom treading would not last in all day conditions for wear after about 4-5 months. I really like these laces and once laced up and the slight angle the tongue helps with any chaffing. The low ankle is nice, too. Again, not a bad shoe. Maybe with a different insole I could try these out later because they have plenty of room around the width of my foot. Gonna hang on to these just for that chance these could be a clutch.

I bought these for work. I’ve worn them less than 3 months and the sole is seperating from the shoe. They are very comfortable, but due to durability I wouldn’t recommend these.

They fit perfect and true to size, I’m a 81/2, plenty of toe room with average socks, very breathable keeping my feet cool and a soft walk not heavy on the feet even after a 10 hour shift on my feet on a concrete floor. I would recommend these

light toe, otherwise steps hurt knees…true keen sizing, keep making these please
like the grey pink…
REGINA –
I love everything about this shoe, after trying and returning at least 15 pair of shoes, bingo I believe this is the right shoe for me, plus they do not make he look like I have on Ronald McDonald shoes, hahaha, I choose to use a padded insole and all is well, Thank you Keen, you are the best.

Love these shoes! So comfortable- no issues with back of heels, arch, or composite front digging into toes. There is also no “breaking in” period- they are good to go the moment you first put them on! Can’t say enough about them! Best work shoes I’ve ever owned…

Order a half size up! Love love love them
Karen –
I really liked these and they look great. But unfortunately they are not a perfect fit. My toes are crushed. These are not true to the size. And the tongue is too thin.
Mary –
Keens are so wonderful . I was so worried I didn’t get above the ankle boots for work. Keens came through and made me a believer. Besides your location is my home town

“I’ve been shopping at Boots for years, and I’ve always been impressed with the excellent customer service and wide range of products. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.
The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what I need. I appreciate the convenient location and extended hours, which make it easy to pop in after work or on the weekends.
I’ve purchased everything from toiletries and cosmetics to prescriptions and health supplements. The prices are competitive, and the loyalty program offers great rewards.
Overall, I highly recommend Boots to anyone looking for a reliable and convenient pharmacy experience.”
