At Foot Wear Area, we want you to be completely satisfied with your footwear purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with your boots, sneakers, sandals, or other footwear, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process.
Our Return Policy
You may return most unworn, unwashed items in their original condition with all tags attached within 15 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange. Please note:
- Items must be in resalable condition with original packaging
- We cannot accept returns on custom insoles or personalized footwear for hygiene reasons
- All accessories must be returned with the original product
Important: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on insoles or any footwear that shows signs of wear. Please try on shoes on carpeted surfaces to maintain their condition.
How to Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:
- Initiate your return request within 15 days of delivery by emailing [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- Our customer service team will respond within 24 hours with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions
- Package your items securely in the original packaging with the RMA number clearly visible on the outside

Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your return. Please note:
- Credit card refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement
- PayPal refunds are typically processed within 24 hours of our approval
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable (except in cases of our error)
Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different size or style:
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate in your return request that you’d like an exchange and specify the replacement item
- If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference
- If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference
We’ll ship your exchange as soon as we process your return (standard shipping times apply).
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange for a free return and replacement at no cost to you.
